	A Template Song is a special song file used as the initial ~~document~~ when Renoise is launched or when creating a new song. ~~By default,~~ a new song is completely blank~~. A Template Song is a special song file used as the initial composing environment when Renoise is launched or when creating a new song. Without a template a new song is completely blank with [[Pattern_Editor#Track_Types\|eight standard tracks and one Send track]]. To have something different from this, make your desired changes, then save it as a template by selecting from [[Main Screen#Upper Status Bar\|the main menu]]: "File -> Save As Template Song".

			* [[Recording_and_Editing_Notes\|Notes]] and [[Effect Commands]].
			* [[Pattern Sequencer\|Pattern Sequencing]].
			* [[Effect Chains\|Track Effects]] and [[Graphical Automation]].
			* [[Instruments]] and everything contained within them.
			* [[Song Options]], [[Song Comments]] and [[MIDI Mapping]].
