Renoise refuses to show certain fonts or shows wrong fonts

This issue probably only is experienced in a Windows environment, nevertheless…
Foreign fontsets are supported, yet you have to set your platform environment to make non-unicode programmes use US or American fontset for system use.
The problem occurs that fonts are searched on it’s expected location on the harddrive and may even be there, but because the native system font has been adapted to be applied on all levels and in all applications, also characters on spots where double colons or slashes supposed to appear changed into a character that the application’s system explorer cannot coop with and the fontset cannot be found because of this.
So when getting these errors, refer to your system configuration (“Regional and Language” option and then the Advanced tab) if your settings to support “Language for non-unicode programs”, are all set well.
