Quantise / Edit Step

Quantise comes from the old tracker world, Renoise calls it Edit step. One Quantise position or edit step means an amount of lines that is being set to skip in edit mode. This can be set with the shortcut keys left-[ctrl] and then any number upon your keyBOARD. (thus *not* keypad) With Left [ctrl]-[+] or left-[ctrl] [-] on your keyBOARD, you increase or decrease the Edit Step value.

And there’s always the buttons you can click or the field you can click and drag up/down or double click on the number-field and manually enter the numbers yourself.
Note: The edit-step value is stored along the song since Renoise V1.8 so if you change it to skip 7 lines, you load the song next time it will be set to 7 lines again!
