Channel Routing
Channel-routing is an option that is enabled with ASIO drivers. As soon as you use the ASIO driver in Renoise, you get channel-routing indicators in the left corner of each track.

In the DSP panel you can see the Channel Routing list-button in the global track properties DSP:

And when popped up you will see which channels are attached to each routing-mode.

Which setting applies to which set of speakers depends on how your audio card manufacturer has connected the channels to the speakers.
The M stands for Main/Master/Multi which is mostly a comprehensive set of speakers and your subwoofer.
The other channels route to your front-set speakers, your rear-set and or your center speaker. (In the case of the Dmx 6-Fire).
The routing capabilities depend on the type of your soundcard and how channel-routing is implemented.
